Today's Village Voice recounts this site's McCain piece. To look at or read the story you'd think there was something new to report. Nope. All Tom Robbins does is repeat this site's account. Not a single bit of original reporting or new facts. In fact, after six years Robbins could not even discover that convicted former HPD Commissioner Richard Roberts was the reason for the $424 charge back at the Bellagio. He canceled his trip at the last minute. Six years, a federal indictment and plea later and he still couldn't ferret this out from his "sources?" He takes this site's account, adds no new information, confirms every detail and still manages to essentially call me a scumbag. This is the e-mail he sent me last week:

Too syrupy? Jesus Christ, you want to throw-up from this guy. There is a reason Robbins can't add new details or do any original reporting. I'll get to that in a few weeks. In fact, all about it.
